Global Impact Cash Grant
This program provides financial support to nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations worldwide that are developing innovative solutions to critical social issues, particularly for underserved communities.
Description
The Global Impact Cash Grant Program by Cisco offers financial support to nonprofit organizations (NPOs) and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) globally that address critical social challenges. The program targets early-stage solutions with high potential for impact, particularly in areas such as crisis response, education, economic empowerment, and climate impact and regeneration. The grants aim to improve the reach and efficiency of services, especially for underserved populations. Eligible organizations must focus on these social investment areas, use technology innovatively, and serve a largely economically underserved audience. Grants are awarded based on a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) followed by an invitation to submit a full proposal.
Eligible organizations must meet specific criteria, including having a tax-exempt status equivalent to a U.S. public charity and maintaining an overhead rate below 25%. The maximum grant amount for first-time recipients is $75,000. Cisco prioritizes programs that are scalable, sustainable, and demonstrate a significant potential for impact. Applications are accepted year-round, but funding is discretionary and based on the program's alignment with Cisco's strategic goals.
