In-Kind Grant Program
This program provides in-kind data services to U.S. non-profit organizations focused on environmental health, community engagement, and effective resource management.
Description
Service Objects offers an In-Kind Grant Program to support non-profit organizations that promote environmental health, economic vitality, informed land-use decisions, and sound management of natural resources. The program provides in-kind donations, specifically data quality and validation services, to organizations that encourage environmental conservation and provide education on personal and environmental health. These services include address validation, email appending, phone number appending, email validation, demographics data, geocoding, and other data validation services.
To be eligible for the grant, organizations must have 501(c)(3) status within the United States and require community demographic, geographic, address information, and related data validation services. The program focuses on projects that reduce waste impacting the environment, provide immediate support for natural environmental disasters, and build action-oriented public involvement. Grants are awarded based on need and on an individual basis.
The grant program does not support generalized education programs about the environment, land acquisition or conservation easements, conferences or expos, endowment funds, political campaigns, or green building programs. Funding requests should be quantifiable with specific product requests and plan objectives, and projects should have a good chance of significant measurable results within one to three years. Detailed project descriptions will be viewed favorably during the granting process.
