Description
The Flagler County Cultural Council (FC3) offers the Summer 2025 Grant Cycle to support arts, culture, history, and heritage programs in Flagler County, Florida. Funded by the City of Palm Coast, this grant program is exclusively intended for events and activities occurring between May 1, 2025, and September 30, 2025. Only project and program-specific grants will be considered during this cycle, with a focus on initiatives that attract new audiences and help applicants leverage additional funding.
Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with documented 501(c)(3) status, registered with the Florida Division of Corporations, and providing public cultural programs in the City of Palm Coast. Both nonprofit and qualified for-profit entities may apply, though for-profits must partner with a local nonprofit organization. Priority is given to applicants based in Flagler County. Organizations must demonstrate at least a dollar-for-dollar match for the grant amount, with in-kind contributions accounting for up to 30% of the match. The maximum grant request is the lesser of 30% of project/event expenses or $10,000.
Organizations must meet specific eligibility thresholds based on their annual revenue. Those with less than $100,000 in revenue must have been a registered nonprofit for at least one year and have completed one full programming season in Flagler County. Organizations with revenue above $100,000 must meet these requirements over a two-year period. All events must be open to the public and must benefit Flagler County residents. Applications must be submitted online at flaglerartsandculture.org/grantapplication by 11:59 PM on April 30, 2025. Questions can be submitted via email until April 29, 2025.
A complete application must include narrative descriptions, budgets, marketing plans, IRS documentation, proof of nonprofit status, letters of support, and documentation of other public funding. Projects are evaluated based on cultural significance, quality, access and community engagement, and organizational capacity. All decisions are subject to final approval by the Palm Coast City Council, and applicants are prohibited from contacting City personnel regarding their application during the review process.
This grant operates on a reimbursement basis. All expenses must fall within the grant period. Acceptable uses of funds include marketing, artist fees, venue and equipment rentals, signage, and event-based services. Prohibited uses include fundraising costs, food and beverage expenses, private entertainment, licensing fees, conference travel, capital expenditures, and general operational services. Final reports, including audience demographics, proof of logo use, and outcome data, are required for reimbursement and future eligibility.
