Description
The New Horizons Grant offers up to $25,000 to support Louisiana-based nonprofits in developing innovative approaches that tackle health or community well-being issues in new or more effective ways. Projects eligible for this grant include creating unique resources or services, piloting new models for existing services, or conducting previously unexplored research that addresses pressing community needs.
This grant is awarded for a one-year period, with funds provided in a single payment and no matching funds required. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based in Louisiana. Applicants must submit an online Letter of Intent (LOI) through the SmartSimple platform, with quarterly submission deadlines on March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1.
