This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and public schools in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties to promote equitable access to high-quality arts and culture for youth and underrepresented communities.

Established in 2011, the Woods Family Music and Arts Fund aims to enhance the music and arts culture in the NCW region. Nonprofit organizations (or fiscally sponsored programs) and public schools in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties (excluding the Methow Valley) can apply for up to $5,000. The grant supports projects that increase equitable access to high-quality arts and culture for youth, expand participation in arts among underrepresented audiences, celebrate the rich cultural heritage of NCW, or provide operating support for organizations delivering high-quality arts programs in NCW. Eligible applicants include 501(c)3 nonprofits, government entities, and religious organizations as defined by the IRS, with a requirement for fiscal sponsorship for other organizations. Grant funds must be expended within one year, and final evaluation reports are mandatory for future funding eligibility.
