Description
Description: The Section 319 Nonpoint Source Management Grants, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, provide funding to address nonpoint source pollution in watersheds with existing Watershed Implementation Plans (WIPs). This grant program emphasizes projects in Pennsylvania’s Environmental Justice Areas and focuses on revising or updating WIPs that are at least 8 years old. New WIP development applications are no longer eligible. The grants aim to improve water quality through various watershed protection activities, supporting initiatives such as agricultural runoff control, acid mine drainage treatment, and urban stormwater management.
Applications for the 2025 grant cycle will be accepted from April 22, 2024, through June 21, 2024. Applicants are encouraged to sign up for notifications, review relevant materials, watch instructional videos, and use sample workplans and budget worksheets provided by DEP.
