This funding is designed to assist long-term recovery efforts in federally designated disaster areas affected by Hurricane Ida, with a focus on supporting low- and moderate-income residents in Delaware and Montgomery counties.

Description

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated $38,282,000 to the Commonwealth via PL- 117-43 and PL 117-180 to support long-term recovery efforts following the remnants of Hurricane Ida in 2021. Grants will be available for federally designated disaster areas impacted by the disaster.

Financial Info:
Priority will be given to projects benefitting residents in Delaware and Montgomery counties identified as the Most Impacted and Distressed (MID) counties. Priority will be given to projects benefitting low- and moderate-income individuals and households.
