Description

The FY25 Community Arts Project (CAP) Grant aims to support arts activities between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, focusing on community art projects that target underserved or distinct community groups, particularly in rural areas. The grant is designed to fund projects involving the creation of new community arts events or the expansion of existing projects to reach underserved communities. Eligible projects include performing arts events, visual art exhibitions, and multi-disciplinary events like literary or film festivals. Organizations can apply for grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, with a 1:1 matching requirement where at least 50% of the match must be in cash. Applications must be submitted 60 days before the event date, and funds will be awarded based on review scores and availability until depleted. Organizations can apply for only one CAP grant during the fiscal period July 1 - June 30.
