Description

Doyon Gwintł‘eeneegiyilii is a grant initiative by Doyon, Limited, aimed at supporting nonprofit programs and services that resonate with Doyon's corporate values and mission. These values focus on enhancing the corporation's financial strength, promoting the economic and social well-being of shareholders, strengthening Native ways of life, and protecting and enhancing land and resources. The grant prioritizes giving in communities where Doyon does business, supporting the well-being of shareholders through General Fund support to non-profit organizations, tribal councils, and others promoting rural education and economic development. Applications are accepted year-round, due by the first day of each month, with funds awarded by the last business day of the month. Grants up to $1,000 and over $1,000 have specific requirements, including a detailed budget for larger requests. Exclusions apply, such as individual sponsorships and political or religious events.
