The 2024–25 South Carolina Migrant Education Program (MEP) aims to enhance educational opportunities for migratory children and youth, enabling them to succeed during the regular school year, meet challenging state academic standards, and earn a high school diploma. The subgrant encourages local educational agencies (LEAs) or public/private agencies to manage programs serving all eligible migratory children and youth in the proposed service area, with potential for partnerships among multiple LEAs or other entities. The project term is from June 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, with an application deadline of June 7, 2024, and a total funding amount of $250,000.
