The Earth Rising Foundation is inviting applications for its grant program aimed at promoting bold, bottom-up action on climate change. The program supports initiatives in five key areas: amplifying Indigenous voices, promoting regenerative agriculture, highlighting intersecting injustices, envisioning a just and sustainable future, and supporting the youth climate movement. Eligible projects include those that focus on sustainable living, carbon sequestration through agriculture, addressing the intersectionality of climate change with social justice, and empowering youth climate activists through various forms of support.
Eligible applicants include existing US-based nonprofits, and the grants range from $200 to $20,000. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2024. This grant aims to address climate change and its related social justice issues by funding innovative and impactful projects led by communities and individuals dedicated to creating a sustainable future.
