Grassroots Grants
Grants are awarded annually at one of three levels of funding: $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000. The number of grants provided at each level will be evaluated annually, based on available funds. Game Changer Grants are intended to assist organizations make a positive impact in our community on the grassroots level.

Carolina Hurricanes Foundation Grant Opportunities
Overview:
The Carolina Hurricanes Foundation is committed to supporting local nonprofits through grants, focusing on children's health and education. Grants are awarded at various funding levels based on alignment with the Foundation's mission.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit in good standing with the IRS.
Aligns with the mission of the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation to support children's health and education, particularly for underserved populations, or strengthen youth hockey.
Directly serves children in North Carolina focusing on health or education.
Has been in operation for at least three years.
Must agree to site visits, provide summaries of fund usage, and recognize the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation as a donor.
Restrictions:

Does not support:
Event sponsorships or fundraisers (e.g., galas, walks, golf tournaments).
General operating expenses, staff salaries, capital campaigns, endowments, or other reserve funds.
PTAs, booster clubs, churches, or political organizations.
Application Process:
Interested organizations should ensure alignment with the above criteria and prepare to demonstrate their impact and operational history.
