The AVMF has partnered with the Stanton Foundation to fund canine clinical research that will investigate cost effective diagnostic or treatment options that veterinarians can offer to clients with limited veterinary care budgets. One grant will be considered for up to $150,000 in funding. Improving canine health and welfare is one of the Stanton Foundation’s primary missions, focusing on ensuring that quality veterinary care is available to dog owners of modest economic means. The foundation is committed to expanding the evidence-base for cost effective care options for canine conditions commonly seen in general practice, improving affordability while maintaining the financial stability of veterinary practices.
