Catalyst Awards for Transformation in Graduate Medical Education
Description
The Catalyst Awards for Transformation in Graduate Medical Education are offered by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation in partnership with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). These awards support projects aimed at improving the clinical learning environment and enhancing the experience of residents and fellows in three key areas: promoting diversity, equity, and belonging; increasing opportunities to learn in high-performing interprofessional teams; and preparing future health professionals to navigate ethical dilemmas. Successful proposals should describe, implement, and evaluate innovative strategies that provide learners with the necessary tools, skills, and strategies to thrive in clinical settings. Each awarded project will receive up to $100,000 over an 18-month period, from April 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. Applications are open to residents, fellows, and faculty members involved in graduate medical education and are due by September 20, 2024, with funded projects announced by February 1, 2025.
