Description

The Town of Friday Harbor's 2025 Lodging Tax Grant Program offers funding to promote tourism activities within the town. Up to $70,000 is available for events and activities that attract or entertain tourists or operate tourism-related facilities owned by nonprofit organizations. Preference is given to off-season tourism activities. Eligible applicants include for-profit and non-profit entities, public agencies, and groups of individuals.

The application deadline is 4:30 pm, Monday, September 9, 2024, with optional pre-screening assistance available until Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The LTAC will review applications and make recommendations to the Town Council (October 17th 2024), which will finalize the awards. Grant recipients will be reimbursed for documented and paid expenses incurred within the grant year.
