Description
The West Linn Community Grant Program offers financial support to local nonprofit organizations delivering events or programs that benefit the citizens of West Linn, Oregon. The funding is intended to promote community engagement, education, wellbeing, and enrichment through various projects and activities occurring between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
Applications must be submitted electronically by April 30, 2025 to cwl_communitygrants@westlinnoregon.gov. If electronic submission is not possible, applicants can bring materials to City Hall for assistance with scanning and submission. Applicants are required to submit a completed application form along with supporting documents, including a detailed budget, summary financial statements, and, if applicable, previous year’s grant reporting.
Applicants must be nonprofit organizations, preferably 501(c)(3) certified, and must also submit a completed Form W-9. Organizations receiving funding are required to submit a Report Back Form within 90 days following the completion of their funded event or program, summarizing the impact, financial use of the grant, and measurable outcomes achieved.
Funding is awarded based on how well the event or program aligns with the City's purpose and selection criteria, focusing on enhancing community engagement, education, and wellbeing. The City prioritizes projects that demonstrate clear outcomes, effective use of funds, and the potential to positively affect West Linn citizens.
Requested funding amounts must be itemized clearly, listing direct and indirect costs (such as food, equipment rental, promotion, materials, and professional services). However, submitting a detailed budget does not guarantee that all requested items will be funded.
All recipients must affirm compliance with City guidelines and reporting obligations. A final signature certification is required upon receipt of awarded funds.
