The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL, or the Department), announces the availability of approximately $4,000,000 total costs (subject to the availability of Federal funds) for one cooperative agreement to fund a technical assistance project in Brazil and the Latin American and Caribbean Region to improve implementation of laws, policies, and national plans to reduce barriers that impede access to education and decent work for LGBTQI+ youth. We encourage prospective applicants and interested parties to use the Grants.gov subscription option to register for future updates provided for this particular FOA. In order to achieve the project goal, applicants must propose strategies to achieve the following outcomes: Outcome(s) (1) Improved knowledge among key labor stakeholders about the barriers to education and access to decent work among LGBTQI+ youth. (2) Increased coordination among key labor stakeholders to increase access to decent work opportunities for LGBTQI+ youth.
