Description

City of Cape Coral B2B Grant Program (Florida) - The City of Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency is offering the 2023 Breaking Barriers to Business (B2B) Grant Program, providing incentive grants to support site development costs for new non-residential construction, building/facility expansions, or renovations in the South Cape area. The program aims to achieve economic development objectives by supporting job creation, business attraction and retention, enhancing the local economy, improving infrastructure, and fostering collaboration between the city and the business community. Priority consideration will be given to proposals including plans for off-site parking. Approximately $250,000 is available under this program, with eligible projects receiving up to 20 percent of capital costs, not exceeding $50,000. Eligible expenditures include land improvement and development costs such as on-site infrastructure design and construction, landscaping, water and sewer connection fees, and other site development expenses approved by the city. Eligible applicants must be business owners or developers proposing projects within the South Cape area with a minimum investment of $25,000.
