The 2025 Community Forestry Grant Program aims to enhance community forestry initiatives throughout Texas by providing funding for sustainable programs that promote healthy trees and forests. The program is designed to support public and non-profit entities in their efforts to develop and maintain urban and community forests, which are vital for the economic, environmental, physical, and mental well-being of Texans. Proposals will be accepted until February 14, 2025, at noon, and there are six categories available for funding, totaling over $12 million.
