Description

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for the Centers of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Education, Science, and Practice (CoE) program under Funding Opportunity Number HRSA-25-027. This program is designed to enhance the MCH workforce by training graduate and post-graduate public health students and advancing research, practice, and policy in maternal and child health.

The CoE program aims to strengthen and expand the capacity of the MCH workforce through interdisciplinary training programs that foster leadership in MCH public health. The program also focuses on advancing MCH science and research to address the evolving needs of families and communities, while informing effective practices and policy development.

HRSA anticipates awarding 13 grants, with an estimated total funding of $5,659,000. Individual awards have a ceiling of $366,769 and require no cost-sharing or matching. Applications are due by January 27, 2025.

Eligible applicants include public and nonprofit private institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments and organizations recognized as institutions of higher learning, and other domestic organizations located in the U.S., its territories, and Pacific jurisdictions. Individual applicants are not eligible.
