Details: TEDI is part of Delaware’s climate change response plan, aiming to reduce greenhouse gases by supporting tree planting projects. The program is a partnership between DNREC’s Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy and the Department of Agriculture’s Delaware Forest Service. Eligible projects include afforestation and reforestation tree planting within the state. Eligible applicants are Delaware State Agencies, Conservation Districts, Counties, Non-Governmental Organizations with 501(c)(3) status, and Tribal Governments that own/maintain the proposed project land.
