Description
The Adams County Community Foundation (ACCF) Traditional Grant provides funding for nonprofit organizations and tax-exempt entities that offer services to Adams County, Indiana residents. These grants support community-focused projects and programs, ensuring that organizations can continue making a meaningful impact in the county.
Grants typically range from $200 to $5,000, and applicants must demonstrate how the requested funds will be used to benefit the community. Funding may be applied toward educational materials, training programs, community outreach, health initiatives, and public service projects. However, funds cannot be used for salaries, operational expenses, food, T-shirts, or construction/renovation costs.
Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis, with submission deadlines on the second Wednesday of January, April, July, and October. Organizations must submit 10 copies of their completed application, along with a project budget and any supplemental materials. Emailed and faxed applications are not accepted, and applications may not be submitted more than 30 days before the due date.
Applicants must include a project summary, expected impact over the next 3-5 years, sustainability plan if partially funded, and a list of past ACCF grants received within the last 18 months. Schools applying for funding must obtain signatures from the principal and superintendent before submission.
Funding decisions are based on available funds, the volume of applications, and the applicant’s grant history with ACCF. Organizations with outstanding grants from previous cycles may apply for new funding, but their past grant performance will be considered.
