Description

Re-allocation of an Existing Apartment Treatment Program for Adults with a Serious Mental Illness Bronx and New York Counties.The Office of Mental Health (OMH) announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the operation of an Apartment Treatment Program with capacity to serve 79 individuals housed in scattered site apartment units located in both New York and Bronx Counties.  This program is currently operated by a not-for-profit agency and the successful applicant will be required to transition the existing residents and leases from the current provider.  All housing units target adults with serious mental illness or who have a co-occurring substance use disorder. This Apartment Treatment Program has been operational for many years and as of the release of this RFP, 64 individuals are currently served by the program. The development of additional apartments to fill current and future vacancies must be sited in the Bronx or Manhattan.All proposals to this RFP must be submitted through the SFS. No hard copy or electronic (email) submissions will be accepted. Instructions for this can be found in Section 2.9 of the RFP. All applicants must be Prequalified by the due date and time for this RFP.
