Operation Ceasefire Grant Program

Description
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is accepting applications for the 2025 Operation Ceasefire Grant Program (OCGP) to support forensic and analytical technology initiatives aimed at reducing violent crime within the Commonwealth. This grant program provides funding for local law enforcement agencies to acquire technology that disrupts cycles of violence and implements sustainable solutions to violent crime.
Eligible applicants are local law enforcement agencies in Virginia. Funding will support projects over a 12-month grant period, running from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Applicants must clearly outline plans for the use, service, and maintenance of any purchased technology. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM on January 29, 2025, through the Online Grant Management System (OGMS).
DCJS offers a solicitation webinar on January 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM to provide guidance on the application process. Participants can access this session through the webinar link provided in the announcement. Registration in OGMS is mandatory to view and apply for this funding opportunity, and applicants are advised to register early, as approval can take 3-5 days. Once registered, users will receive their login credentials via email.
