Description

The Renewable Resource Grant and Loan Program's Private Grant Program is designed to support water-related projects for non-governmental entities in Montana. These grants are available for individuals, associations, and watershed groups that manage projects beneficial to water resources and that are mandated by governmental agencies. Eligible projects include those not yet constructed and which provide public benefits, such as septic tank upgrades or water conservation efforts. Applicants must not have received funding from this program in the last five years to qualify. The funding covers up to $5,000 or 25% of the project costs, whichever is less, and requires a significant cost-sharing commitment from applicants. Open until funds are exhausted
