Junior League of New Orleans

This funding opportunity provides financial support to nonprofit organizations that promote the economic, physical, and mental well-being of women and families in the New Orleans area.

Description

The Community Assistance Fund (CAF) provides grants to nonprofit agencies that can effectively demonstrate a need for funding and aim to advance the wellbeing of women. The Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) awards these grants once a year in areas including Economic Opportunity, Physical and Mental Health, and Family Assistance. Grants support women’s economic potential, improve their health, and provide family support to alleviate caregiver burdens.
Applications for the Fall 2024 CAF grants are open from July 28, 2024, to August 25, 2024. Grants of up to $20,000 are available. The CAF Committee evaluates funding requests and submits them for final approval by JLNO’s Community Council and Board of Directors. Awarded organizations must participate in follow-up evaluations six and twelve months after receiving funds.
