Ragan and King Charitable Foundation Grant
This grant provides financial support to Baptist-affiliated schools, organizations, and churches in Georgia for projects related to education, health, human services, public benefit, and religious activities.
Description
The Ragan and King Charitable Foundation provides financial support to religious, charitable, and educational initiatives within the state of Georgia. The foundation specifically funds programs associated with Georgia Baptist or Southern Baptist-affiliated schools, institutions, organizations, or churches. Administered by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., the foundation aims to strengthen faith-based communities by funding projects that align with its mission.
Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations under the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation supports projects in several program areas, including education, health, human services, public and societal benefits, and religion. However, funding is strictly limited to religious, charitable, or educational services, projects, or programs that fall within the scope of the foundation’s mission.
The application period is open year-round, but applications must be submitted by August 1 to be considered at the annual grant meeting in September. Upon submission, applicants receive an automated email confirming receipt of their application. All applicants are notified in writing once funding decisions have been made.
Organizations receiving funding may be required to submit periodic progress reports and final reports detailing the outcomes of their funded projects. These reporting requirements ensure accountability and alignment with the foundation’s mission and funding objectives.
