Description

The Community Foundations Community Grant Program offers annual unrestricted General Operating Support (GOS) grants to nonprofits. These grants support ongoing administrative and infrastructure costs, program maintenance, organizational development, and capacity building in Dutchess, Putnam, and Ulster Counties. The program aims to fund a broad array of effective and innovative programs in human services, arts and culture, education and youth, health, the environment, and civic affairs, with a focus on historically marginalized communities. Applications open on July 1, 2024, and close on August 15, 2024, for Letters of Inquiry. Full applications are due by October 1, 2024, with awards announced in December. Grants do not exceed $5,000, and a total of $100,000 is available annually.
