2025 Women’s Fund Grant
This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations in Randolph County that develop innovative programs to improve the lives of women and children, focusing on areas such as crisis prevention, education, financial literacy, and health initiatives.
Description
The Women’s Fund of Randolph County, held by the Community Foundation of Randolph County, is accepting grant applications for its 2025 cycle. This fund supports programs that enhance the futures of women and children in the community, particularly those offering innovative solutions to address unmet local needs. Priority areas for funding include family crisis prevention, women in crisis, educational support, financial literacy, youth leadership, and health-related initiatives. Grants typically range from a portion of $7,000 available in 2025, with the goal of funding as many projects as possible each year.
Nonprofits must have administrative offices located in Randolph County to apply. The fund will not consider capital projects, individual scholarships, or sectarian religious purposes. Only one application per EIN will be accepted in each cycle. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit entities or non-501(c)(3) organizations pursuing charitable purposes. The program requires that applicants do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or disability.
The 2025 grant cycle has a deadline of Friday, February 14, 2025, by 2:00 pm. Interested organizations must submit a completed application online, which cannot be saved for later submission. The application requires details such as the project title, amount requested, and a budget, along with supporting documents like the IRS determination letter for 501(c)(3) status and the organization’s current fiscal year budget.
Grant recipients will be notified by March 21, 2025, and will be invited to present their projects at the Women’s Fund of Randolph County Brunch and Membership Drive. Final grant reports, including digital photos, will be due by the first Friday in February 2026, or upon completion of the project.
