CRCF Community Fund Grant

Description
The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation (CRCF) has opened the application process for its Community Fund, which provides unrestricted grants to support nonprofit projects and initiatives that respond to evolving needs in Cattaraugus County, New York. The current application period closes on April 15, 2025. Grants from the Community Fund are awarded in two rounds each year, one in May and another in November. These grants are intended to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents and to support organizations addressing pressing community needs.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, government entities, and school districts. Applicants may request up to $2,500 per project. Applications must be submitted through CRCF’s online grant application system, which can be accessed at www.cattfoundation.org under the Grant Seekers section. The grants are designed to fund feasible projects that show clear community impact, organizational stability, and strategic use of the requested grant funds within the broader scope of the project.
Established in 1994, CRCF has awarded nearly $250,000 through the Community Fund to support causes that contribute to community enhancement. Funding has historically gone toward education, the arts, health care, community development, youth programming, and human services. All proposals are reviewed by the Foundation’s board based on impact, need, and alignment with community goals.
