Description
The City of Fort Pierce has launched its Residential Rehabilitation Program, providing financial assistance for eligible homeowners to make essential home improvements. Applications open on November 1, 2024, at 8:00 AM and close on November 25, 2024, at midnight. This $1 million program is funded by $717,020 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $282,980 from the State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) funds for FY 2024-2025, aiming to enhance the quality of life for residents by supporting home rehabilitation efforts.
Applicants must meet income eligibility requirements and attend a mandatory orientation session before submitting their applications. Registration for the orientation is available online, and proof of attendance is required for application review. Applications will be processed on a first-submitted, first-qualified basis, and funding is limited, so early submission is encouraged.
