Description

The Arts Curricular Innovation Grants (ACIG) Program, funded by the South Carolina General Assembly through Proviso 1A.8, is administered by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE). The ACIG aims to support innovative practices in arts education curriculum, instruction, and assessment in the visual and performing arts, including dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. The 2024–25 Arts Enhancement Program (AEP) grants focus on developing and expanding school arts programs to improve student achievement in these areas. Eligible applicants are South Carolina Title I schools and/or South Carolina Priority schools. Applications are due by June 3, 2024, with the grant period running from July 1, 2024, to May 30, 2025. The maximum grant award is $10,000, with a total of $350,000 allocated for up to 35 grants.
