Description

The Black United Fund of Oregon (BUF-OR) annually offers Community Impact Grants to nonprofit organizations that align with its mission and focus on positively impacting BIPOC communities. These one-time monetary awards are designed to support organizations that serve communities within Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:

Hold current tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or be fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) organization with a formal sponsorship agreement.
Have a mission and programming that align with BUF-OR's goals and focus on serving BIPOC communities.
Be located in and provide services to communities in Oregon or Southwest Washington.
Grant applications will be evaluated based on the organization's mission alignment and its demonstrated impact on BIPOC populations. Organizations interested in applying should ensure that their goals and community impact closely reflect BUF-OR’s priorities to maximize their chances of selection.
