Description
The Clean Energy Career and Technical Education Pilot Program, funded by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, is accepting grant applications to develop and expand career pathways in the clean energy sector. The program aims to enhance career and technical education (CTE) initiatives that prepare students for clean energy careers, focusing on skills development and workforce readiness. The total funding available is $5,000,000, with an anticipated 10 awards ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 each.
Applications must be submitted between September 30, 2024, and November 12, 2024, by 5:00 PM CST. The program does not require cost-sharing or matching funds, and indirect costs are allowed without any restrictions.
A technical assistance session is available but not mandatory. It will be held on October 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM CST.
