Description
The Healthy Environment, Healthy Communities Grant Program, managed by the Chesapeake Bay Trust, supports community outreach and engagement, environmental action, and larger-scale restoration projects in the Patapsco and Back River Watersheds and the Curtis Bay and surrounding communities. This initiative is aimed at addressing environmental and public health issues resulting from enforcement cases involving the Patapsco and Back River Wastewater Treatment Plants and Curtis Bay Energy, L.P. Eligible projects include environmental education, small-scale greening projects, and large-scale watershed restoration efforts. Applications are accepted from nonprofits, community associations, faith-based organizations, service groups, government agencies, and educational institutions.
