Description
The Investigator Initiated Research Program, supported by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, is designed to back doctoral-level researchers conducting health-related research. This initiative focuses on addressing critical research gaps, exploring factors to prevent or reduce disease risk, examining health variable associations and cause-effect relationships, analyzing secondary data from large datasets, conducting health care cost-analysis studies, and evaluating robust projects and feasibility studies for innovative interventions aimed at improving health outcomes. Grants can reach up to $75,000 per award, targeting projects that develop evidence-based research within Michigan's hospitals, universities, and health care systems.
