The County of Maui Office of Economic Development (OED) has announced the opening of its Fiscal Year 2026 grant application cycle, starting April 1, 2025. This grant program is designed to support initiatives, projects, and events that contribute to the economic development of Maui County. The funding is aimed at driving positive economic outcomes that align with the county’s broader economic goals.

Eligible applicants include both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. These entities are encouraged to submit proposals that are consistent with the county’s mission of stimulating economic activity, encouraging innovation, and creating sustainable employment opportunities across Maui County. Specific program goals and allowable expenditures will be outlined in the FY26 Grant Handbook, which is scheduled to be released through the application portal.

The application period closes on April 30, 2025. All applications must be submitted through the online platform Submittable, available at https://mauioed.submittable.com/submit. This platform will also host the FY26 Grant Handbook containing detailed eligibility criteria, application procedures, and documentation requirements.
