Conference/Training Grants are designed for non-profit organizations to support conferences or training programs that benefit residents of Ohio County. The grants can be used to send individuals to conferences/training or to bring training sessions to the organization. Funds may only be used for registration fees or training materials/speakers, and cannot be used for lodging, food, or travel expenses. Applications are accepted year-round on a first-come, first-served basis until the annual funding is depleted.
Each organization can receive up to two Conference/Training Grants per year, totaling no more than $300, with a maximum of $150 per application. The deadline to apply is December 27, 2024, at 3:00 PM EST. Applications are approved by the Executive Director without requiring full Board approval, ensuring timely decisions.
