Description

The Conservation License Plate Grant Program, commonly known as the "Moose Plate" program, is offered by the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources (NHDHR). This program provides grants for the conservation and preservation of significant publicly owned historic resources or artifacts that contribute to New Hampshire's historical and cultural heritage. Grants can be awarded up to $20,000 for the preservation of publicly owned historic buildings and structures. Interested applicants should first submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by May 3, 2024, followed by a full application due by June 21, 2024. The program supports projects that preserve New Hampshire's historical edifices and structures, with additional resources provided for managing potential archaeological concerns during such projects.
