Description
The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $1,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.This NOFO aims to build the capacity of the government of the United Republic of Tanzania and its partnering public health institutions to lead and manage the continued HIV response under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), thereby strengthening human resources for health through public health training improvements. Recipient(s) under this NOFO will provide technical assistance, training and capacity building services to public health institutions in Tanzania to support the accelerated provision of comprehensive and high-quality HIV services, ensure continuity of services, minimize new infections, increase capacity for responding effectively to public health threats, and improve the quality of life of people living with HIV. Recipient(s) will provide capacity building services using a range of technical assistance skills and modalities that are responsive to the needs jointly identified and prioritized by public health institutions throughout Tanzania. Recipients will ensure these capacity building services continue beyond the period of performance of this NOFO by developing and implementing a plan of continuity, sustainability, and transition to the government of Tanzania and its partnering public health institutions.
