2024 Winter Supporting Coloradans in Recovery Through Non-clinical Programs
This funding opportunity provides financial support for community-based programs that help individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, access culturally relevant recovery services.
Description
This funding opportunity aims to support individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges in accessing culturally responsive non-clinical support services close to home, making recovery possible. It seeks to strengthen non-clinical recovery support programs focusing on the community and purpose dimensions of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA's) model of recovery. Eligible programs/projects must align with the Foundation’s cornerstones to advance efforts to bring health in reach for all Coloradans, specifically serving those with less power, privilege, and income, prioritizing Coloradans of color, and creating health equity.
