Grants for Exhibits - Major Grant
This funding provides up to $10,000 to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies in Oklahoma for creating and implementing exhibits that enrich the state's cultural landscape.
Description
Major Grants for Exhibits offer outright funding up to $10,000 for the creation, development, or implementation of exhibits in Oklahoma. Eligible exhibits include permanent exhibits (on view for at least three years), temporary exhibits (open for a minimum of three months), and traveling exhibits (available to public audiences in at least two venues in Oklahoma). This funding supports humanities-based exhibits aimed at enhancing the cultural landscape of Oklahoma by making them accessible to the general public or specific audiences.
The grants are available to U.S. nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, accredited public and private institutions of higher education, state and local governmental agencies, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments. Applications for Major Grants are accepted twice a year with deadlines on March 1 and August 1.
