Description
The Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) is offering a grant to promote self-determination strategies to help people with developmental disabilities (DD) communicate with medical providers and navigate the health care system. The project may include components on understanding health care-related rights, finding peer support, and developing tools to help people with DD articulate their health care preferences. The grant provides up to $125,000 per year for one organization for up to five years. Applications are due by August 23, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Applications submitted on time may be reviewed at the November 2024 Council meeting. Late applications will not be accepted.
