The Fiscal Year 2025 Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) aims to support infrastructure projects that elevate the standard of living in rural Maryland to or beyond statewide averages by 2030, maintaining rural heritage. It focuses on critical economic and community development areas, promoting regional cooperation and leveraging additional resources. Infrastructure projects can include improvements in broadband, water, wastewater, transportation, workforce housing, and more. Eligible projects must involve intergovernmental cooperation and offer matching grants up to 25% of total project costs.
