They welcome applications for field-leading research and high-impact programs that inspire awe and wonder. Eligible applicants include charitable entities globally, with occasional funding for individuals and for-profit companies doing charitable work consistent with the Foundation's tax-exempt status. The grant process involves an initial Online Funding Inquiry (OFI) followed by a Full Proposal if invited. Key deadlines include an OFI submission deadline in August, decision by October, Full Proposal submission in January, and final decisions by July.
