2024-25 Kirschner Trusts Grant Program
This grant provides funding to support nonprofits in Muskogee County and organizations in Oklahoma that offer educational and vocational opportunities for young people with disabilities, as well as initiatives promoting Jewish education and culture.
Description
The Kirschner Trusts Grant program for FY2025, administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, offers grants of up to $40,000 to support projects and programs in Muskogee County and across Oklahoma that align with the philanthropic goals of the Kirschner family. The grant categories focus on supporting nonprofits in Muskogee, educational and vocational opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities, and Jewish education, culture, and heritage.
Key Dates:
Letter of Intent (LOI) Deadline: October 16, 2024, by 5:00 PM.
Grant Application Deadline: October 24, 2024, by 5:00 PM.
Notification of Decision: Mid-December 2024.
Grant Range: Up to $40,000.
Funding Categories:
Muskogee Nonprofits: Open to nonprofits in Muskogee County to address social, economic, and educational needs. Both project/program-specific and general operating support grants are available.
Educational & Vocational Opportunities for Children & Young Adults with Disabilities: For organizations in Oklahoma providing educational and vocational opportunities to children and young adults (ages 0-24) with disabilities. Only project/program-specific grants are available.
Jewish Education, Culture, & Heritage: Supports Jewish organizations (both in Oklahoma and, in some cases, out-of-state) promoting education, culture, and essential social services for Jewish communities. Both project/program-specific and general operating support grants are available.
Application Process:
Letter of Intent (LOI): Must be submitted via the OCCF online grant portal by October 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM. After approval, eligible applicants will be invited to submit a full application.
Full Application: Invited applicants must complete the full application by October 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
