2025 Housing for Everyone Grant Program

Description
The 2025 Housing for Everyone Grant Program, administered by the TD Charitable Foundation, provides $7.2 million in funding to nonprofit organizations that address barriers to sustaining homeownership in low- to moderate-income (LMI) communities. Grants of $200,000 each will be awarded to 36 organizations, with funding supporting post-purchase homeowner assistance programs. Examples of eligible projects include post-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention, property tax relief, energy efficiency improvements, and legal assistance for property disputes.
Eligibility is limited to tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations or state/local government entities in specific geographic regions of the U.S. Applicants must have a history of supporting affordable housing or facilitating its access. Proposals are evaluated based on their alignment with the grant theme, feasibility, impact, team capacity, and financial health. Funding cannot be used for new construction, rehabilitation, first-time homebuyer classes, or services targeting households with incomes over 80% of the area median income (AMI).
Applications must be submitted online by February 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. ET. Award recipients are notified in late March 2025 and announced publicly in April. Funding must be utilized within 18 months, with impact reports required throughout the grant period. Applicants may attend informational webinars in January 2025 to learn more about the program.
