AGA - Attorney General's Office

This funding opportunity provides $170,000 to Arizona fire departments to implement drone technology for delivering life-saving equipment in emergency situations where response times may be delayed.

Description

The Arizona Attorney General (AGO) is looking to partner with local emergency services in the development of a program utilizing drone technology equipped with life-saving equipment. To achieve this goal, the AGO proposes $170,000 be immediately available in grant funding to be distributed to a fire department (city or county) that would establish services with a drone delivery company on or before February 28, 2025 for purposes of ensuring life saving measures are taken when there is a 911 call where emergency responders or EM’s vehicle/units would be time delayed. Funding for this opportunity is made possible through the Anti-Racketeering Revolving Fund resulting from forfeiture assets collected as part of financial remedies of criminal activity with a purpose.

Financial Notes:
Applicants eligible to apply include any Arizona city or county fire department. All grants are capped at $170,000 (proposals may not request more than $170,000 in total grant funding).
