Accessibility Grant Program 2026
This funding opportunity provides financial support to arts and non-arts organizations, as well as unincorporated groups, to improve accessibility for audiences and artists, especially those with disabilities.
Description
The North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) offers the Accessibility Grant for fiscal year 2026 (FY26). This grant program is designed to assist arts and non-arts organizations, as well as unincorporated groups, in making their arts programs and facilities more accessible. The goal is to increase the inclusion of all audiences and artists, particularly those with disabilities. The program prioritizes organizations led by persons with disabilities or programs that provide paid opportunities for disabled artists.
Organizations applying for this grant can request a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $2,000. There is no required match for the grant. This makes it an attractive option for groups looking to enhance the accessibility of their arts offerings without the burden of securing matching funds.
The grant is a one-time funding opportunity with a fixed application deadline of Thursday, April 17, 2025. The application will be reviewed by a panel, with the panel meeting scheduled for May 21, 2025. For further assistance or inquiries, applicants are encouraged to contact Program Officer/Accessibility Coordinator Rhea Beto at rbeto@nd.gov or call (701) 328-7594.
The NDCA's office is located at 105 North 4th Street, Bismarck, ND 58501. For general inquiries, applicants can reach out to arts@nd.gov or visit the NDCA's website at www.arts.nd.gov.
