Projects not adequately served by existing community resources
Projects which provide incentive for generating other funds and community resources
Projects which facilitate cooperation and collaboration between organizations

Four County Community Foundation provides services to non-profit organizations, schools, and governmental agencies located in:
Lapeer County (MI): Almont, Attica, Dryden, Imlay City and Richmond
Macomb County (MI): Armada, Bruce, Ray, Richmond, Shelby and Washington
Oakland County (MI): Addison, Brandon, Oakland, Orion and Oxford
Clair County (MI): Berlin, Emmett, Mussey and Riley
Grant Guidelines
Four County Community Foundation’s Grant Review Committees and Board of Trustees will be guided by the following general policies and considerations:
The Foundation provides grants to individuals through designated scholarship funds and to eligible, IRS tax-exempt organizations, schools, and governmental agencies operating in the Four County Community Foundation service area
Grants will be made to support progressive ideas in education, health, and community, including youth and adult programs
Grants will not be made for sectarian religious programs
Grants will not normally be made for operating budgets, wages, or for basic educational or municipal functions
Grants will not be made for projects which have already been completed.
